We're based in south-east Essex, with the majority of our players coming from the Dunton and Langdon Hills areas. We have a range of teams covering various age groups and all feature in local leagues, including the Thundermite League and the Essex County Girls Football League. Our home strip is predominantly royal blue and red with white trim.

Does your car need a wash?... (Jun 2009)

...if so, our U9 side are here to help! On Saturday 27th June 2009 between 11:00am and 15:00 at the Methodist Church on High Road, Langdon Hills, the team will be washing cars to raise money for the club.

Each wash will cost £5 and the proceeds raised will go to help pay for our new pitches. Please bring your car, van or bicycle along to get it sparkling and help support our club!

This event is obviously subject to the weather - if it's pouring with rain, we'll postpone it until another week.

U13s narrowly lose in Cup Final (26 Apr 2009)

In a trilling spectacle played at the Great Wakering Football Club stadium, our team played their hearts out but were narrowly beaten 3-1 and a great advertisement for youth football.

As ever, our roving reporter Steve Burton was on-hand to capture the highlights. Click here to read his full report.

U8s are "comeback supremos"! (26 Apr 2009)

Our all-star U8 squad showed great character and determination to turn a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 vicoty beating a good Copeland Colts side.

Manager Dave said "after a woefull first half performance in our last home game of the season we found ourselves losing 2-0 but after a roasting from Paul and a few changes at half time we were back on form in the second half. Goals came in a hat-trick for Alex G and one from Jack D.

Man of the match was Alex H. for keeping us in the game up to half time with some great defending."

A great end to the season of our team who we're sure will achieve great things next season too!

New Players required!

We're looking to form a new U7 squad for the 2009/10 season. Those wishing to participate should be currently in the Reception / First Year (aged 5 and 6) and must not have attained the age of seven by 1st September 2009 (ideally born between 1st September 2002 and 31st August 2003).

We'll be holding the first squad training session on Saturday 18th April 2009 at 10:30am and every Saturday thereafter. The session will take place at the Great Berry Open Space (behind the Pavilion Club, opposite Great Berry Primary School) and will last for sixty minutes.

All equipment (balls, cones, etc.) will be provided by the club, however players will be required to wear suitable clothing (e.g. football kit or tracksuit, etc.) and MUST wear shin protection guards (available from most sports shops for a few pounds). Players should also bring their own refreshments (e.g. water bottle, etc). Players’ parents / guardians are encouraged to come along to spectate and support their children.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Double hat-tricks for U12s! (22 Mar 2009)

Our in-form U12 squad continued their impressive run of form with a fine 8-1 away win against struggling Aveley Youth. The boys warmed up nicely for their up-coming Cup Final appearance with a comprehensive victory which saw both Harry and Ben score hat-tricks. Other goals came from Jordan and Sonny.

The scoreline doesn't tell the whole story though - Aveley put our boys under great pressure at stages through the game and made our defense and keeper work hard for the victory. Indeed Liam brought off a string of superb saves in the second-half to keep our opponents at bay. The same was true at the other end though with the Aveley keeper also putting on a fine display between the sticks.

Well done to the whole team - everyone played their part in a well-earned victory which all bodes well for a successful conclusion to this season's campaign.

U8s romp to victory! (15 Mar 2009)

Our U8 squad continues to impress with some excellent performance and super results! This week they were away to a strong Hutton side and managed to score six goals without reply.

Manager Dave Chesney said he was absolutely thrilled with the performance. He marveled "The whole team played as one, passed superbly and were cutting through Hutton at will." Dave's had a very successful weekend - not only did his favourite team win 6-0, his second-favourite team had an excellent win away to Manchester United too!

This is yet another excellent result - keep up the good work boys and you'll be a force to be reckoned with next season when the games become competitive!

U8s win in 4-2 thriller! (08 Mar 2009)

Our all-star U8 squad turned in another very impressive performance to beat a very strong Brentwood Athletic side. Man of the match was Alex G who scored two of the goals with the other two being scored by Jack D.

This was a landmark game for the Dunton side as it included the team's first ever headed goal which came from a corner. Even the opposition manager commented on the quality of this excellent strike!

Well done boys and keep up the good work!

U12s outplayed by Ockendon (08 Mar 2009)

Fresh from their win over league leaders Ockendon last week in the Cup, our U12 somehow conspired to lose 5-2 to the same side.

Ockendon were clearly motivated to get a result and our boys were unable to match them on this occasion. With a weakened side through injury, we were unable make our normal passing game pay, but goals from Jordan and Ceiran gave us some hope against a determined Ockendon side.

Conditions were not helpful, with a strong wind making it difficult to judge the flight of the ball - but Ockendon coped better than we did on this occasion.

All in all, an unconvincing performance by the U12s. Let's hope this was a temporary blip following excellent performances in recent weeks.

U13s beat Brandon Groves in difficult conditions! (08 Mar 2009)

Our high-flying U13 side chalked up another win with a battling performance against a good Brandon Groves side.

On a bright and very windy Spring day, our lads had to work hard to break down our opponents.

Our roving reporter Steve Burton was once again on-hand to capture the events as they unfolded.

Click here to read his excellent report which includes photos of the action!

U12s through to Cup Final! (01 Mar 2009)

Our plucky U12 squad today gave a fantastic performance to beat League leaders Ockendon Rhinos 4-2 in the Cup semi-final. This was a fantastic team performance with every player impressing.

Two goals by Jordan, one by Sonny and another by Joseph were enough to clinch the tie. But that's not the whole story - the defense played exceptionally well to keep a strong Ockendon side at bay, whilst the midfield quartet ran their hearts out to ensure Ockendon's attacks were snuffed out quickly. Up-front, Sonny and Jordan look to have formed a partnership which will yield plenty of goals in the future too! Click here for the full match report.

U13s on fine run of form -

U8s win close encounter! (23 Nov 2008)

Our U8 side dug deep to get a win against a very strong Corringham Athletic side.

The score was level at 2-2 with five minutes to go before two late Dunton goals were scored to seal the victory.

Well done boys on another fantastic performance. Pictured here is Man of the Match Ethan P who scored a superb hat-trick!.

U7s in winning form! (23 Nov 2008)

On a freezing cold and wet morning our plucky U7 squad gave a fantastic performance against a strong Copelands Colts side. Our lads were winning 1-0 before the game was abandoned when it became too wet and too cold to continue.

Congratulations to Ian and all the boys on a fantastic performance. We knew it would only be a matter of time before your performances got the result you deserved - all the hard work is starting to pay off!

Keep up the good work and let's see if we can win again next week.

U12s thrash Tilbury in Divisional Cup! (23 Nov 2008)

Playing against an under-strength Tilbury side, our U12s turned on the style to comprehensively outplay Tilbury.

The boys were simply awesome today- passing and moving to create changes at will. This was one of the most emphatic performances yet and ended in us winning 7-0. Not bad considering the referee ended the game early too!

Manager Paul and Coach Simon were delighted with the performance. The boys have now demonstrated they can play like this and will therefore be expected to do the same every week!

U12 battle against Corringham but are out of Cup! (16 Nov 2008)

Playing against the league leaders from the division above us, this was never going to be an easy game! Nonetheless, despite a slow start, our U12 side gave a very impressive performance eventually losing 6-2. This was our first-ever game on a full-size pitch which made the result all the more impressive.

Manager Paul was delighted with the performance of his players and hopes this form can be carried over for their remaining League fixtures.

U8s beat Ockendon Rhinos (16 Nov 2008)

The Dunton U8 side is becoming quite a force to be reckoned with. Against strong opposition they once again played superbly well to run out convincing 3-0 winners.

Next season their mini-soccer games will become competitive (i.e. they'll be awarded points for wins and draws). If their form continues in this manner they'll be serious contenders for the League title!

Well done again to Dave, Paul and the boys - keep up the good work.

U9s lose to Langdon Lions in close Cup game! (16 Nov 2008)

Our U9 side lost to Langdon Lions in a closely fought game. Landon are several places above us in the same league - we therefore knew this was going to be a tough game.

Manager Justin was understandably upset to be knocked out of the Cup but said that his team performed very well - especially considering he had only seven fit players for the game (i.e. no substitutes).

Click here for a full report.

Goals aplenty as U8s thrash Linford! (9 Nov 2008)

Once again our U8 superstars turned on the style to sink a plucky Linford side in a 9-0 drubbing. Manager Dave was said to be delighted with the impressive performance of his team - especially as everyone ended up playing in an unfamiliar position!

Well done boys, keep up the good work! Click here to read Dave's account.

Congratulations on a baby girl! (9 Nov 2008)

U12 midfield supremo George and his Dad Simon were celebrating on Sunday despite losing away to Stadium United. The reason - George's mum had not long given birth to a beautiful bouncing baby girl! Mother and baby are both said to be doing very well, though the same can't also be said of Simon who's clearly missing a few hours sleep! Congratulations to all the family from everyone associated with the Dunton Dynamos Club.

U12s beaten by last-gasp winner! (9 Nov 2008)

Our U12 squad somehow conspired to grab defeat from the jaws of victory in this thrilling Divisional Cup second leg game. Having won the first leg 4-1, the Dynamos were in confident form. The Dynamos completely outplayed the Stadium side in the first half and should have sealed the game by half-time. They were made to pay the price however when Stadium battled well in the second-half and scored two late goals to get the win. We didn't deserve to lose this game, but we learned a few lessons as a result.

Before the game, the lads posed (with posed being the operative word!) for some team photos. If you're not of a nervous disposition, click here to see the pictures and read the match report.

U8s continue unbeaten run against FC Redwing! (2 Nov 2008)

Our U8 team game another emphatic display against strong opposition in the shape of FC Redwing. Our boys completely outplayed our hosts to win 3-0. But for a superb display by the Redwing goalkeeper, this could have been double figures!

Man of the match was Owen (pictured here after the game). Click here for a more detailed report.

Well done boys and keep up the hard work!

U8s grind out result against strong Aveley side! (26 Oct 2008)

Our U8 side battled well against a physically stronger and bigger Aveley side to get a well-earned draw. Man of the Match was Alex (pictured here) who played "a blinder" throughout!

Goalkeeper Sam also made a contender for "Save of the Season" in the latter stages to keep our opponents from scoring.

Well done to all involved - clearly there's some impressive work being done here!
