The squad comprises players from Langdon Hills and surrounding areas and is managed by Paul English with assistance from Pete Galliers.
"This is our first year away from the Thundermite League, and we have received a few shocks this season. The teams in the Southend League appear to be of a much higher standard, and has meant we have needed to raise our game quite considerably. We started our season strongly with a good win over Hockley Orient, and a good away Cup win on Canvey, but have since struggled to achieve the results we so wanted.
Our performances of late have been much improved and we are now displaying some great football each week. These improved performances have coincided with a new trainer, Dale Brightly, assisting with training techniques and coaching weekly, thanks Dale.
With the winter break now behind us, it is only the weather that seems to be holding us back, and we are all looking forward to a strong second half of this season, with some improved results.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people involved with our Under 14 squad:-
To Pete Galliers, for his tremendous support, not only as the Club secretary, but also in all aspects of the team, both on and off the field. Get well soon mate. To Corinne, for her Tea Bar every home game, and being the Club treasurer. As well as putting up with my bad moods every time, we don't win. To Paul Brown, for his refereeing and lines man duties nearly every week. To Hayden Williams for his expertise in sign making for our new Tea Bar. To Steve Burton ( Stato) for his excellent match reports every week.
A special thanks goes to every parent who helped with our work party at the Club House on January 3rd, what a sterling effort........ And to all our loyal supporting parents, and thier help with the nets, tea bar and cleaning every week."

Southend & District Junior Sunday League - Under 14’s Div. B League match
Weather: Dry, bright, breezy
This match was an extreme disappointment on a beautiful spring morning that deserved a more worthy performance from lack lustre Dynamos. As the skies were empty of any aircraft due to the Icelandic volcanic ash spewing high up in the atmosphere, it seemed as though the boys were also miles away as they let this match pass them by without producing a shot on target.
The conditions were perfect for playing football, and unfortunately, only Town did this, with keeper Ross doing his best to prevent an onslaught with some fine saves. At half rime it was goalless and it seemed as though Dynamos had escaped with a second chance. However, Town scored quickly after the restart, with a high through ball over the top of the Dynamos defence for the Town striker to latch onto and hit a fine shot in off the cross bar.
AJ had a chance to pull the team back into the match with a direct free kick, but his shot went wide.
Soon afterwards, Town crossed from the left and the ball looped over the defence, who did not clear it and it was put into the net by the home team.
A third goal followed, which was a tremendous effort from another decisive breakaway as Ross could do little about a fantastic strike from outside the box for a 0-3 scoreline.
