Match Report
Dunton Dynamos v Hamlet Court (0-10)
Date: 22nd November 2009
Venue: Southend-on-Sea
Weather: Atrocious: cold, grey, gale force wind, driving rain
Dynamos just did not fancy this one. They were hammered after starting reasonably well against Hamlet Court, but like the weather, they were in fact awful on this dreadful autumn lunchtime.
Early on Ross showed a safe pair of hands and AJ muscled through the middle to force an early corner, but a consistent theme in this match was Hamlet bursting through the middle to destroy Dynamos with goal after goal. Hamlet’s big No. 7 was constantly left alone without anyone challenging him as he led the constant charge on the Dynamos goal.
It is too painful to report all 10 goals conceded, but as the rain poured and hailstones fell with real intent, to make this an afternoon to forget, there was absolutely nothing positive to report, other than Curtis winning the Man of the Match trophy.
